After graduating from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester in 1998, where I studied with John Reynolds and Nicholas Cox, I decided to move to Lincolnshire. Since then I have combined a career in performance with teaching in the local area. I have given successful recitals in Nottingham and Manchester where I also appeared as a soloist at the Bridgewater Hall.
Keen to continue my professional development I undertook a Masters in Music at Nottingham University, where I made many valuable contacts, including Alistair Parnell the saxophone tutor there. All this resulted in my completion of the Licenciate of the Royal Schools of Music on Saxophone and the Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music on Clarinet.
